Mass of Healing

Dear Friends,

I will offer two different Masses, with prayers of healing and will also offer the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick on Sunday, June 2 at 6:00 pm and Wednesday, June 12 at 7:00 pm.

Some may ask, why are we doing this? In this time, where we are asked, how do we continue forward with our aim to Unleash the Gospel here at St. Paul’s? It is in my own prayer and for many who have approached me, numerous people of are facing challenges. Perhaps it’s a challenge which is health related, perhaps it’s a challenge from a relationship at home or professionally, perhaps it’s a challenge from the many “voices” from our world “voices” that come from media and/or Internet that have brought a need for healing. Perhaps, it is just a desire for greater peace or a desire for greater hope or love.

We know no greater prayer than the Mass, and our greatest opportunity to find greater peace, is just to sit in sacred silence with our Lord in the Monstrance. So with that, I will offer these two Masses, I will also provide the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick for those in need and finally, we will conclude with sometime for private prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament.

As we continue on our journey to Unleash the Gospel, let us keep in prayer our friends, family and fellow parishioners who desire healing and greater peace.

In Jesus and Mary,

Fr. Craig Marion
