Established in 1881 to encourage devotion to the Blessed Mother, the St. Paul Altar Society is responsible for the care of the altar sanctuary, including purchase and care of altar linens, flowers, priest and server vestments, and liturgical supplies. They provide baptismal gowns and choir robes for the parish. Ongoing activities include bereavement programs, wedding anniversary mass celebration, knitting and quilting projects for pregnancy outreach, and parish prayer support. Social and spiritual activities also are held for members throughout the year. The annual Fall Benefit luncheon and fashion show financially supports these ministries.
